The clasp may be made of gold but the pearls … I thought this pearls were fake because they do not shine like my mom’s pearls and each pearls look exactly the same but I took them to an independent jeweler. He explained that these are fresh water pearls not pearls from the ocean. Fresh water pearls are not as beautiful as ocean pearls and not as shiny. They also don’t last as long.
