if you get easily frustrated, and have no experience with the catch … Ok, so I don’t do reviews very often, but hope this will be helpful to some. I am in my mid 50s, so please take that into account. Meaning that I wouldn’t normally wear this type of earring at all. View CommentEveryday earrings I bought several of these to keep all my ear piercings open, and they do just that. It took me a little practice working the ‘captive bead’ closure, but once I’d done it a couple times it got easier. A 20-gauge loop is about the gauge of a typical french hook or lever back stem for earrings, so it won’t stretch piercings at all. If you want a simple, sturdy loop that won’t snag on things or poke you in the head while you’re sleeping, this is the one.
View CommentPerfect for what I need! I have 2 cartilage piercings – one right under the other on the same ear- so I needed something light and not huge so I can wear both of them at the same time. I honestly forget they are there! A little annoying to put it- you need to line up the grooves of the beads with the steel hoop- but if you have patience (or a friend) you can get them in. I have had them in since I got them, sleep/shower/everything with them and they haven’t bothered me at all or fallen out.
