This 16 gauge cartilage hoop jewelry is made with surgical grade 316L Stainless Steel. These are 3/8″ (10 mm) captive bead rings with 4 mm balls. This body jewelry is hypoallergenic and nickel free.

Product Features

  • Includes two different style rings: One plain captive bead ring hoop and one CZ crystalline captive bead ring hoop
  • Made with surgical grade 316L Stainless Steel – hypoallergenic & nickel free
  • Product specifications (both rings): 16 gauge, 3/8″ (10 mm), 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel, 4 mm ball
  • How to Use a Captive Bead Ring: The ball has small indentations on either side. These indentations keep the ball securely in place with tension from the hoop. To remove the ball, use the thumb and pointer finger to grasp & pull away from the hoop. To put the ball back in, line up the indentations on the ball with the sides of the hoop and gently push in. For thick gauge sizes, needle nose pliers are strongly recommended to remove the ball and place it back in due to the strength of the jewelry.

Good quality, difficult to get in depending on your ear shape The area that the ball sits in is very small, so I was unable to get this into my helix piercing and had to go back to the tattoo shop to have it put in. The piercer also had trouble and had to bend the ring outward and into an ‘S’ shape to get it to fit over my ear and line up with the piercing hole. It bent back into place well enough and has been in my ear for several weeks now without issues. I asked the piercer his opinion of the quality and he said it was as nice or nicer than the ones…

Nice Hoops. I was a bit confused while trying … Nice Hoops. I was a bit confused while trying to figure out how they open but once I watched a You Tube Video on how to open and put on Cartilage Hoops with a Ball, I was able to figure it out. Very good quality earring. I received a lot of compliments on the first day that I wore it!

but great product! I love it and once it is … A little harder to fit into ear hole just because the opening is smaller and hard to handle with your hands… but great product! I love it and once it is in it fits well and works great!
