This set of 18 gauge cartilage jewelry includes a plain steel hoop and a Titanium IP plated rainbow hoop. IP (Ion Plating) is a safe and permanent fusion coating process used to enhance the durability, color and shine of body jewelry. Both pieces of jewelry are made with surgical grade 316L Stainless Steel. These captive bead rings have a 5/16″ (8 mm) diameter and come with a 3 mm ball. Both pieces of body piercing jewelry are hypoallergenic and nickel free.

Product Features

  • Both rings are made with surgical grade 316L Stainless Steel, and the rainbow ring is Titanium IP plated for color. Hypoallergenic & nickel free
  • Includes one 18 gauge 5/16″ Surgical Steel captive bead hoop with 3 mm ball
  • Includes one 18 gauge 5/16″ rainbow Titanium IP plated captive bead hoop with 3 mm ball
  • How to Use a Captive Bead Ring: The ball has small indentations on either side. These indentations keep the ball securely in place with tension from the hoop. To remove the ball, use the thumb and pointer finger to grasp & pull away from the hoop. To put the ball back in, line up the indentations on the ball with the sides of the hoop and gently push in. For thick gauge sizes, needle nose pliers are strongly recommended to remove the ball and place it back in due to the strength of the jewelry.

Worth the Price Very cute earrings. No negative reaction when wearing them. The only negative would be that it is very difficult to insert the tiny ball into the proper place. I won’t be taking it out for a long time!!
