Not exactly what I expected… While there is a photo of the earrings on the product page, it doesn’t really tell the whole story. I was excited to receive these, but when I opened them I wasn’t sure which color set I’d ordered (warm or cool). The colors aren’t rich or classy, they’re more bright than I’d have liked; kind of cheap-looking. In addition, they look like fake pearls that have been flattened – they’re not a nice round shape. Gaudy and garish – More like miniature Christmas ornaments than pearls. I must say that I was dismayed when I first opened the box containing these pearls. The first thing that jumped into my head when I saw them was “Christmas ornaments.” The colors are much more garish than pictured. I am sure that this must just be a matter of taste, but to me part of the beauty of pearls is the muted iridescence, which is not very apparent in this set, except in the one pair of white pearls. To me, this set just looks cheap.

Ugly I had purchased these for my daughter-in-law for Christmas but sent them back because the colors were washed out and they seemed so large for button Pearls. Plus, the package did not include anything indicating they were Freshwater Cultured Pearls.
