Proper care of pearls is not difficult if you remember that they are organic and produced by a living thing. Pearls are soft and delicate, but when cared for with common sense, they will maintain their lustre for centuries. The pearls should not come in contact with cosmetics, hairspray, perfume, chlorinated water, or other harsh chemicals. To keep them clean, let them be the last item put on when dressing, and the first item taken off at the end of an evening. The best way to maintain their lustre is to wear the pearls often, and wipe them down with a soft cloth afterward–pearls absorb the oils from skin, which helps keep them moist. Pearls should be stored in a cloth pouch or jewelry bag, separated from other jewelry to prevent nicks or chipping. Periodically, pearl strands should be restrung since the silk thread used to tie the pearls together breaks down over time.Enjoy timeless elegance with this three-row pearl bracelet, featuring radiant white 6.5-7mm freshwater cultured pearls, double-knotted on silk cord. The 8-inch bracelet is finished with a shiny tube clasp made from bright and tarnish-resistant rhodium-dipped sterling silver.

Product Features

  • Classic and elegant three-row bracelet featuring hand-knotted strands of freshwater cultured pearls

  • The image may show slight differences in texture, color, size and shape.
  • Slight imperfections are naturally formed during the pearl formation process and define the unique beauty of each pearl, and each may vary in size, number, and depth per pearl.

A. PEARD "amazon is my valhalla" says:

Pretty but not real freshwater pearls Glad this was marked down “72%” because, while pretty, these are not A Grade freshwater pearls but actually beads. You can see the finish puddling marks on some and they are too uniformly molded to “look like” real freshwater pearls to be so (one reviewer commenting on “same size” should have been tip-off). Also way too shiny, and slick on the teeth. Strung a little tightly as well–would take some time for it to loosen up. I am returning because not worth the $40 I spent … might have…
